HSL Celebration Event 2018
Over 120 London schools attended this year’s annual celebration event in the Chamber at City Hall on Thursday 28 June to collect their Silver and Gold Awards. Over 250 delegates from schools, London Boroughs, Education, Health and the third sector came together to celebrate the achievements of London schools in making their pupils healthier, happier and ready to learn. Chaired by Deputy Mayor for Education and Childcare, Joanne McCartney, speakers included Dr Ranj from BBC Children's TV and ITV's This Morning, pupils from Ealing's Got Talent and Andrew Pembrooke from Teach SRE. 5 London schools also shared their stories about how they are supporting their pupils with their Personal Social Health Education, buildoing their confidence and decision making skills.

5 London schools including Headteachers, teachers, support staff and pupils shared the work that they are doing regarding pupil emotional health and wellbeing including: pupil voice, conflict resolution, self regulation, social skills, involvement in decision making, self esteem, mindfulness, building relationships and celebrating diversity.
