The Mayor of London’s Liberty Festival returns to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on Sunday 26 July as part of National Paralympic Day.  This free outdoor summer event, which runs from 1pm – 6.30pm, features an incredible line-up of Deaf and disability arts. There’ll be something for everyone with live music, aerial theatre and dance performances, activities for children and families, DJs, films, food and more. Click here for details

Our annual Healthy Schools London Celebration Event took place on Thursday 4 June 2015 in The Chamber at City Hall. 250 delegates attended including more than 80 schools who were collecting their Silver and Gold Awards.

The event was chaired by Public Health England's (PHE), Dr Yvonne Doyle who is the London Regional Director and Health Advisor to the Mayor. Yvonne welcomed a range of speakers including: Victoria Borwick, Assembly Member and Member of Parliament, two Headteachers and representatives from DfE, Ofsted, Office of the Children’s Commissioner, Institute of Education and a youth led campaign (Oii My Size).
